CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden car into a NATO forces convoy in Bagram district of central Parwan province late on Monday, injuring three Afghan policemen, an official said.

The suicide attack on the coalition forces took place in Qala Nasro area at about 6pm, the Bagram district chief, Abdul Shakoor Qados, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said three policemen escorting the convoy were injured in the blast that damaged a NATO vehicle, but caused no casualties to the international troops.

But a Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said 12 American and five Afghan police were killed in the attack.

The US forces have so far said nothing in this regard.
